As you can see it has been about a year and a half since my last entry!  A lot has happened in that amount of time...Josh returned from his second deployment in November 2008, change of command in April 2009, Disney World trip in May, left Clarksville, TN the end of May,  the kids and I moved in with my parents while Josh went to Ft. Belvior, VA for the summer for a school,  I moved our family into a house in Fayetteville, GA in July, BJ turned 5 in July and started Kindergarten in August, Josh started his new job at Ft. McPherson in September, Cady started preschool and turned 4 in September, we joined a wonderful church in October, Honey turned 8 in November, we got to the spend the holidays together doing what we do best...traveling, Josh deployed again to Afghanistan in March 2010, the kids finished up school in May, and swimming lessons and VBS in June...now you are caught up on the highlights of the past year and a half!  Hopefully it will not be that long until the next entry.  Pictures if the past 18 months soon to come!!!

We visited Riverfest on Septmeber 6th in downtown Clarksville. The kids along with their friend Ty, got to play in the bouncy house, ride a choo choo train, and climb through a blow up dinosaur. They also got to pose for pictures with Noah's Ark, which I thought was adorable. BJ has been very curious about God and Jesus lately. He asks a lot of questions, which I think are very complex and deep for a 4 year old. Even I have trouble answering some of them. But I absolutely love that his little mind is that curious! I thought it was fitting that they got to see "Noah's Ark". They had fun playing with all the "pretend" animals!

BJ and Cady started preschool on September 3rd. BJ was a little reluctant at first, but quickly warmed up to his teacher. Cady, however, loved school from the moment that she found out she has BJ's teacher from last year. They have made it through their first two weeks and seem to enjoy it so far.

BJ and Cady decided to play dress up one day! As you can see they have NO problem switching costumes. Josh would be so proud of BJ in Cady's princess dress! Those are kids for you! They sure did have fun though!

Before Josh left, we did get to celebrate the kids birthday's with a beach/summer fun theme. BJ actually turned 4 on July 27th, while daddy was home. However, Cady's birthday is not until September 27th. But, since daddy was home, we celebrated them at the same time! We had a birthday party at the house with a bouncy house and a HUGE blow up slide along with a slip and slide and more. The kids had a blast playing outside even though it was one of the hottest days of the summer thus far. We may start planning their parties together from now on!

We got Josh off on Tuesday, August 5th. Although it was difficult to see him leave, we got to spend the day at the airport before he had to board his plane. The kids had a good time running around and watching the airplanes. The Atlanta Airport really knows how to treat soldiers and their families. It was a relaxing ending to the perfect R & R!

After leaving the beach, we traveled to south Georgia to spend some time with Josh's family. We took the kids to the beach and the pool, as well as on their first fishing trip with their cousin, Trinity. BJ absolutely LOVED it. He couldn't get enough of it. Cady enjoyed catching the sun rays a little more then fishing until we moved the fishing excursion from the boat to the pier...then she joined in with the rest of them and fished away. Unfortunately, no one caught any fish due to impatience of leaving the hook in the water. It was a constance of casting the hook and then reeling it in. Oh well...they had a blast...which is all that matters!
